Some generic CoreRPG based extensions that can be used with the Pathfinder Second Edition ruleset (PFRPG2) are available here: http://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20320-FG-3-0-CoreRPG-Extensions

Please post comments on individual extensions in the specific extension thread (linked above) - please keep this thread for info on new/updated extensions. Thanks!

Developers - you're welcome to look at the code in these extensions as examples of how to develop your own extensions. If you want to use the code, please be polite and get in touch with the developer who made the extension and ask permission to use their code (send them a PM and post in the relevant extension thread). Some developers may no longer be active in the community, give the dev a couple of weeks to respond and if they don't respond you have done the polite thing and should be able to use their code (as long as the extension does not specifically say you can't). If you do use other people's code please mention them in the extension - it's only fair to give credit where credit is due.

Extension developers who don't want other people to use their code should say so in their extension.

Anything on the DOE Sound Ext?
I suggest you ask in the DOE Sound Extension thread. There's only one person who's going to make it available for PFRPG2 - and that's Dulux-Oz.

Please create the compatible extension to transform token in RIP icon on grid combat.

I suggest you post this request to the developer of the extension you're referring to - maybe in the thread for that extension. Posting here has a very good chance of them not noticing your request.

I threw together a quick extension to toss the 4 panels of the GM screen quick reference rules up as decals. Not sure if that violates any copyright rules for sharing though?

If it doesn't include any copyright images, and you include the OGL, then it's OK - i.e you've created the data yourself. If they're straight captures of the GM's screen panels then that's covered by copyright.

Does anyone know of an extension to make weapons and armor yet? Where I can just choose a longsword, and then a dropdown menu to choose +1 or striking rune?

See the Wiki user guide on properties etc. that you can enter for items here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/PFRPG2_Item_Sheet

It’s not drop down menus but it details the fields and the parameters to enter.

Whipped up this Extension to handle Heightened Spells for Signature Spells and the like without having to rebuild them each time you add them to a new level. It handles both healing and damage.

Warning - the Spell Level Damage extension (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?53891-Spell-Level-Damage) is no longer compatible with the PFRPG2 ruleset from release 16. The extensions functionality will be implemented in release 17 of the ruleset. Until then, please don't use this extension.

st4lk3r87 over at https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?47341-Extension-Weapon-Handling-Versatile-and-Offhand-attack&highlight=weaponhandling+extension made a really cool extension that changed between 1 hand, 2 hand, and ranged for weapons in 5e with clicking on your abilities sheet. Is there anyway for this to be added to core PF2 functionality? Or something like it? I don't think the author supports FG anymore and looking inside the .ext made my head swim as it had java(?) (I think) inside the .ext, which is just madness.

You can change between melee and ranged now.

The only other thing this would do is change the damage dice for weapons with the "two-hand" trait, which you can do pretty quickly in the weapon damage entry.

I'm not ruling out maybe doing something in the future, but as this is of limited functionality, and it's easy to change the damage dice, it's not on my list of things to do currently.

I might be missing something, but you'd said the multi-attack button extension for the combat tracker no longer works. I have it installed, and it works for me just fine. I tried it a moment ago. Takes away 5, and 4 if the attack says agile.

1) There are a number of issues with that extension. Detailed in the extension thread here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?51331-Extension-MultiAttack-buttons-in-Combat-Tracker
2) The base ruleset now has the buttons built in.

Something to keep in mind - just because something appears to work (in this case the MAP penalties getting applied), doesn't mean that an extension is still operating correctly. In this case, that extension uses code from 10 releases ago - there have been many ruleset updates since then and so using this extension can cause issues both known (see the note in red in post #1 of that thread) and unknown. If there is a note on the forums from a moderator or the extension author saying not to use an extension anymore, then I'd recommend not using it.

Any idea if there are any extension like the old shops extension being working on for PF2? I enjoyed my player's ability to shop based on what was available in a town.

yeah, the PF2 overlay stuff is not updated (yet?), I cannot code at the moment and was waiting for that someone can take over :) In some weeks I may revivify it, but would be nice if someone else could do the maintenance since I am not playing PF2 :)

Just a heads-up: My extension (the wound overlay stuff) is deprecated for now; Daddyogreman coded a CoreRPG version to which I provided a link in my thread :) So, feel free to remove the link to my extension's thread :)

Release 18 of the PF2 ruleset has been pushed to live today.

Please make sure any extensions you use are updated for Release 18. There's been a lot of code changes and even if you don't experience any errors, an extension could be incorrectly overriding base code.

For example, the NPC Save result text clarification uses code from a year ago and will break R18 functionality. The wording and presentation of results has been modified to make it easier to read, so there's not much need for it now anyway - and you'll also get the easier to recognise icons that were released last July but this extension overrode. Please don't use this extension in release 18. This isn't Willot's fault - the extension was fine when it was released.

I've not encountered any errors (yet) with the CoreRPG Overlay extension. Have dropped damage, cleared the marker with the map button. So far all good. I'm assuming it's this one?

I tried out the Aura Effect extension and it does work in PF2E as well. And it's a very much needed feature imho!

I have been away from this forum for a while but as I am going to be running a lot more PFS2 stuff on FGU, I realize there are a few things that would make my life easier and as I am not seeing them I am thinking of creating them...
A while ago, I posted my version of all the !st level Pregens but that was so long ago they have gone through revisions at Paizo as well as lots of updates to FGU PFS so I am in the process of redoing all the Pregens and this time including the 3rd and 5th level ones.

One thing I would love to see (Maybe I missed it?) would be something like SR'DragonDrop for all the consumables, especially potions, alchemical items and talismans. Currently I just manually do the adjustments for a quick session or for longer sessions and campaigns I build them out for people, but I have redone the same ones so many times that I feel like I should just build the all and make a mod of it. It seems like it would be useful but I don't want to reinvent the wheel, so if someone has already done it, let me know!

What other ideas do people have about some automation that is still needed? Let me know, maybe I can get something together or at least have a bigger and better pool of ideas!

This would be of amazing utility!

Another thing missing is something like the forge-thing from Starfinder where you can add bonuses and runes to items & weapons to make specific magic items. As it is now, you have to stat out a +2 mace of fire by hand (as a random, perhaps not true, example).

DDySean
August 12th, 2021, 02:42
I agree, though I don't think I know enough yet to put that one together. I hope to get there some day! Currently I just stack the runes under the item for inventory then adjust the weapon itself on the action tab...
Another thing I would love to see but do not know how to do myself for PF2 would be something to make the draw circle, draw cone and draw square tools highlight the actual squares effected per the Areas diagram from (Core p456).
I think Classic did something like that so I am guessing it is harder to make happen than it sounds for PF2 for some reason...48662

I do appreciate the feedback, I guess I should really build all the consumables then finish all the Pregens using those consumables just so they are all consistent across the board...!

I asked about that a few months ago...it was not well received, though I think it is useful.

Highlighting squares is not a PF2 ruleset thing it’s base FGU functionality.

Hey Sean! As you know, the Drag n Drop series is undergoing a revamp (cleaning up things that are no longer necessary and making it modular). I think a Consumable compliment that allowed players to add those items to their actions would be absolutely fantastic! I do something similar myself for my campaigns, but I haven't gone through the effort to cover all of those items available in the game. It'd be well received! :)

At some point, all of this will become redundant as Trenloe expands and continues to develop the ruleset, but in the meantime, this bridges that gap and maybe allows him to focus on other issues that only he can implement.

Hi ShadeRaven,
I just finished the ammunition from the Core book and will be working on the Oils next. Once I am done, I will post it here (or rather in the Community Modules thread as I think that would be the correct place to put it) but would be happy to send it to you as well to incorporate into your modular Drag n Drop series. I really do appreciate all your work with that and would be happy to contribute even a small amount to such a fine product and have it all in one place for the community!
