An older tier 1-4, subtier will depend on the players. Make sure to decide on a reasonable sub-tier.

Please note that if worst comes to worst, I can have the server up in time but might be 15 minutes late myself.

The game can be finished in 4 hours but might also take 4 1/2 hours, depending on some circumstances.

The next game might be #2-02 Waking the Past (tier 3-6).

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-4.

A missing Starfinder ship's distress signal would have gone unnoticed were it not for a passerby detecting it and selling the information to the Society. The PCs are to travel to the crippled starship, and once aboard, reach the bridge in order to piece together the tragic story of the vessel's lost crew. Only by unraveling the mysteries of the drifting starship can the PCs hope to uncover information critical to the Exo-Guardians future operations.

Content in Cries From the Drift also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Exo-Guardians faction.

Technical details:

We will use Fantasy Grounds (I have an Ultimate license) and Teamspeak.

Steps before the game:

Make sure to both apply here as well as in the game calendar (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=3551), stating which character you'd like to play.

If you apply, make sure you send me your previous chronicle sheet of the character you want to apply this chronicle to (if you already have any chronicle sheet) either here or on Discord (Fantasy Grounds channel). If it is your first SFS game, I'll at least need your Paizo Organized Play # and your faction.

If you haven't already, also make sure to either build the character on FG yourself (and send it to me) or log in early enough so you can do so on game day.

Make sure you have updated Fantasy Grounds.

FG alias and Teamspeak server can be found under GM annnouncements in the game calendar.

Other notes:

Also make sure to track your purchases on the Inventory Tracking Sheet.

Be sure to apply on time (if you can make it) as the last games were rather full.

In your own interest, make sure the party is somewhat balanced level-wise.

Some boilerplate clarifications:

Please apply on the FG forums on both the game calendar as well as in the game thread (if multiple household members are playing, one person per household is sufficient). First, it's easier to tell how many spots are already filled that way. Second, the other players (as well as the GM) know what level and class to expect from your character (if you don't know yet, simply state TBD). Third, you'll get notified about any updates if you post in the game thread (at least about the first one). Fourth, it allows the GM to determine who applied first should it become relevant. Some exceptions might apply.

Also, please be sure to check the thread for new messages occasionally. You don't have to check each and every day or every few hours but please make sure to reply to any posts that do concern you in time. Should you remain unresponsive, I'll give the spot to a player that applied after you (as I won't know whether you are still interested in participating or not). Exceptions might apply, e.g. if you state beforehand that you won't be able to respond due to traveling.

If you apply but don't show up or drop out during the game without notice, in future games I might also give preference to other players who have a better track record of showing up. I am aware though that life and technical problems can always happen, so don't worry if you have a valid reason though.

These rules are not in place to prevent players from playing but in fact to enable players willing to play to actually do so. It's frustrating if I have to turn down players if it turns out they would in fact have been able to play.

I have already played this, but might look if I have a replay available if another player is needed.

I'm new to Starfinder, but enjoy the game. I've played a real life game and want to play online. I own Fantasy Grounds and would like to play in your upcoming game on July 28th. I'm reviewing what the Starfinder Society entails and will get back to you with a Paizo Organized Play # and a faction# (not sure what this is yet). Let me know if I need anything further to get started.

Alright, welcome.

Looks like we are up to 3 players then (a legal table).

Basically make sure you have

a paizo # (e.g. from here (https://paizo.com/organizedplay/myAccount) (I can however also assign one to you if you want.)

and that you follow the character creation rules of p 21 ff of the guide (https://paizo.com/products/btpy9vlp?Starfinder-Society-Roleplaying-Guild-Guide).

In the guide you'll also find the available factions.

Alright, thanks.

I'll also have the FG SF server up today for a Fantasy Grounds College class in around 1 hour if you need it.

Sorry for the late reply. Would I be able to join in?

Sure. Just be aware (as I warned the other players) that we'll start at around 1.15 PM GMT due to other obligations.

So, with a few new players I suppose this will be subtier 1-2? I can bring a level 2 technomancer who has a Jadnura replay available.

Yes, I'm assuming subtier 1-2.

The server is up for the game in one hour.

As a reminder, the game start is scheduled for 1.15 PM GMT.

In the unfortunate but not impossible event that I myself are 10-15 minutes late due to other obligations, please discuss starship combat roles as well as which ship you want to take. My apologies about that but it is a rather busy weekend for me.

Chronicle drafts sent (with one exception):

@aellongm: I think I sent you a message on Discord. If not, please notify me (and I may have seriously confused another user).
