Is there a way to save dice formulas to the hotkey shortcuts?

I know I can drag all sorts of things to the hotkey shortcuts at the bottom of the screen, even dice. However, I can't seem to figure out how to just add an arbitrary dice formula such as "3d6+2". Is that possible?

Yes, in the chat window, type in /die 3d6+2 then before you hit enter, drag that text to the shortcut bar. it will save it there and you can click it to auto roll.
