Has the price of the subscription gone up? I was charge £8.18 this month.

Probably an currency conversion. AFAIK the US price hasn't changed.

That's just the current conversion. The GBP is declining in value almost as fast as you can refresh the exchange rates, I've been ordering stuff from the UK in GBP for the last month to get the best value.
