I am newish to FG, extension building, familiar with XML and beginner with LUA. So forgive my remedial question.

Is there a method for removing the dicepool element from the desktop with an extension to the MoreCore ruleset? Any help would be appreciated.

I think the dice pool can be turned off through a campaign option - click the options button in the top right of the desktop and see if it's there.

You are correct. Thanks, didn't realize it was an option.

Well on the plus side, I did find where I could modify the dice pool visually. desktop_panels.xml, desktop_classes.xml and replacing the bg image for it.
