Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, but I am trying to figure out how make a Gearhead have two different paths like the Soldiers that allows you to choose a new one at higher levels. Very much a newb trying to make a custom module for the Starfinder Interface Zero Setting, got races and themes done but classes have been a struggle. :) Any who help would be appreciated and thank you!

Welcome :)

I don't use Starfinder so can't help, but if you don't get an answer here, try to the Starfinder sub-forum; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?102-Starfinder

Classes are not that difficult to create. I have done most of them from the Starlog Series by Everyman Gaming. The trick is properly nesting the abilities granted by the class. In the Features section of the class, you would have the Primary Technical Specialization feature typed in. I would then suggest you put in the Primary Technical Technique feature in after the Specialization. Create additional primary technique features for the levels needed (5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 15th, 17th and 19th). Now, to get the choice of the Specializations, click on the Special Features tab and create each specialization. Starting with Drone Jockey at level 1, you would have the fluff text for drone jockey on the "main" tab and on the "other" tab you would the level 1 ability you gain (in this case, Custom Drone) and the fluff text for it. Once that is done, move on to level 5. Same fluff text about the drone jockey in the main tab, but on the other tab, you will have to create the ability you gained from level 1 (Custom Drone) along with the level 5 ability. Level 7 would be the exact same, but with the level 1, 5 and now 7th level abilities on it. The reason it is done this way is because every time a feature has the same name, it is overwritten with the newest item taking over for the last.

When you create the secondary specialization, all you need to do is add it to the features section of the class and add the secondary technique to the features section at the proper levels. FG will see the techniques and allow the player to pick another one. Unfortunately, it will allow the player to see all the techniques available up to their current level, so the player will have to do the proper math to copy the technique over to their sheet.

Feel free to drop me a line if you need any additional assistance. Attached are examples of what I am attempting to say..
