I'm new to fantasy grounds and it looks like you can't share your modules, core rules, or other books that you have purchased with other players. Can I upload my hard copies and if not, does everyone pitch in to buy one person a book to use? Just curious about how others manage all of this. Thanks for the time guys.

Welcome :) When connected to the GM, players can access any modules the GM chooses to allow them access to. Players can not share to other players.

You can manually input your hard copies, but their is no way to automatically "upload" them. You can use the community "Project Author" and "Engineer Suite" to help automate some of the input (but not all of it).

It depends upon every group, but having everyone contribute to the GM's collection is the polite thing to do :)

Though written for 5E, this post will give you an idea of what you do and don't need to buy for any given ruleset; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?32987-What-do-I-need-to-play-5e
