making modules for fantasygrounds

i hope this is the correct subforum for this.
id like to create a.modfile for fg, that contains and index, with subcatagories under it, that link thru to a bunch of images. when i look at modules like curse of strahd, it is imediately obvious that this is possible and not exceptional in any way, however i have no experience with this sort of stuff. can anyone point me at any tutorials that explain this creation process, if they exist?
