I've recently moved home and purchased new IP.
previously i had issues with macafee causing port issues, opened up and worked at previous address perfectly fine.
so hardware shouldnt be the issue i think?

ive followed the guide issued by hyperoptic staff, for port forwarding and believe i've set it up correctly putting the correct IP in the boxes etc etc.
using ports start 1801 & end 3074
also followed this guide which is basically the same as the one the staff sent me
https://portforward.com/tilgin/nb403/

anyone else use hyperoptic and have issues? or resolved.
many thanks in advance

Nothing specific, but it seems that other people have often had to delete and re-create anti-virus and port forwarding rules when hardware has changed. So, I would suggest you delete any rules in McAfee and your firewall/router/modem and recreate them as needed.

It also might be very well that your new ISP is either using IPv6 or congregating ports on IPv4, neither of which FG can handle. See this post; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?47051-Fantasy-Grounds-Connections-Explained

You only need port 1802 start and end.

Apart from that make sure that your network is set to private and that you have created an exception in your AV for Fantasy Grounds.

See also this post if you still have an issue and post the results of the questions at the end. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?47051-Fantasy-Grounds-Connections-Explained
