Tier 5-8, subtier will depend on the players.

As this is a relatively high-level game, please schedule around 5 hours for the game, just to be on the safe side.

Note that the game starts a little bit later than usual.

Next week I probably can't run a scenario (but still TBD), the week after however most likely #1-36 Enter the Ashen Asteroid tier 1-4.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5-8.

After much negotiating, the Starfinder Society has reached an accord to work with leaders of the Drakelands and Skyfire Mandate on the world of Triaxus. To commemorate this historic achievement, the Society intends to open a new lodge in the settlement of Cumo. However, a recent enemy intends to disrupt the event, and only the PCs stand between this hidden threat and the Society's newest endeavor.

Content in To Conquer the Dragon builds on story elements established in Starfinder Society #1–13: On the Trail of History, however, playing that previous scenario is not required.

Technical details:

We will use Fantasy Grounds (I have an Ultimate license) and Teamspeak.

Steps before the game:

Make sure to both apply here as well as in the game calendar (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=3513), stating which character you'd like to play.

If you apply, make sure you send me your previous chronicle sheet of the character you want to apply this chronicle to (if you already have any chronicle sheet) either here or on Discord (Fantasy Grounds channel). If it is your first SFS game, I'll at least need your Paizo Organized Play # and your faction.

If you haven't already, also make sure to either build the character on FG yourself (and send it to me) or log in early enough so you can do so on game day.

Make sure you have updated Fantasy Grounds.

FG alias and Teamspeak server can be found under GM annnouncements in the game calendar.

Other notes:

Also make sure to track your purchases on the Inventory Tracking Sheet.

Be sure to apply on time (if you can make it) as the last games were rather full.

In your own interest, make sure the party is somewhat balanced level-wise.

Some boilerplate clarifications:

Please apply on the FG forums on both the game calendar as well as in the game thread (if multiple household members are playing, one person per household is sufficient). First, it's easier to tell how many spots are already filled that way. Second, the other players (as well as the GM) know what level and class to expect from your character (if you don't know yet, simply state TBD). Third, you'll get notified about any updates if you post in the game thread (at least about the first one). Fourth, it allows the GM to determine who applied first should it become relevant. Some exceptions might apply.

Also, please be sure to check the thread for new messages occasionally. You don't have to check each and every day or every few hours but please make sure to reply to any posts that do concern you in time. Should you remain unresponsive, I'll give the spot to a player that applied after you (as I won't know whether you are still interested in participating or not). Exceptions might apply, e.g. if you state beforehand that you won't be able to respond due to traveling.

If you apply but don't show up or drop out during the game without notice, in future games I might also give preference to other players who have a better track record of showing up. I am aware though that life and technical problems can always happen, so don't worry if you have a valid reason though.

These rules are not in place to prevent players from playing but in fact to enable players willing to play to actually do so. It's frustrating if I have to turn down players if it turns out they would in fact have been able to play.

Signed up. I have already played it, though, and would use a GM-Nova replay. So, if a lot of people are interested, I could bow out to make room for someone who hasn't played it yet.

Signed up with Wex. Hopefully this one also includes fire vulnerable creatures conveniently bunched within a 20' radius. I am finding that's something I really enjoy in a scenario.

Alright, looks like we have a legal table then.

I can't make any promises regarding fire vulnerability but Triaxus is known to be either extremely hot or extremely cold, depending on its orbit to the sun.

If anyone needs pregens please tell me in advance because I would have to prepare them.

@Malkavian_Andi: I'd be surprised if we have more than six people interested.

My options for this are:

- Solarian 5 (Tank)
- Envoy 6 (Healer)

Both are not too good with Starship Combat. My preference would be the envoy.

Update about future plans:

SUN June 16th: As of yet still unsure whether there will be a game. If there is one, most likely #1-36: Enter the Ashen Asteroid tier 1-4 at either 5 or 6 PM GMT.

The next ones after that most likely #1-27 King Xeros of Star Azlant tier 5-8, a TBD older tier 1-4 and #1-37 Siege of Civility tier 5-8 (builds on #1-24).

No game on the 7th of July.

After that any remaining scenarios would either have spoilers for #1-99 or #2-00.

Contrary to previous information it seems like the #1-99 special will only be released publicly on August 4th. As there still seems to be a table minimum, it will likely require quite a bit of time to organize (and might also involve roll20 GMs).

There will therefore most likely be spoilers for either #1-99 or #2-00 in future games.

As long as we can find a date when everybody has time, I can help with getting 1-99 running. But since it will be some time until it can be run outside of convetions, there's no need to rush this at the moment.
(Although on the Paizo product page, it does say it's available in June. Where did you get the August date from? Has there been an announcement on the Paizo forum?)

SUN June 16th: As of yet still unsure whether there will be a game.Just visit Hamburg and come to NordCon instead :P

Appreciated but yes, there certainly does not seem to be any rush.

I recently stumbled across this post (https://paizo.com/threads/rzs42jjt?Limited-Edition-Scenarios-Accessibility-Rules#1) which seems to indicated August 4th.

June 16th: Sure, just a matter of rescheduling other obligations, arranging travel and accomodation. :)

Well, seems like they changed the dates around, which I suppose is just a symptom of SFS still being young.

This scenario will feature a slideshow of the Society's recent accomplishments.

Every player is free to send me a suggestion on what should be featured. It could be a real event (assume there were cameras) or it could be a reenactment (slightly exaggerated is fine). Please make sure they don't contain too many spoilers.

Wex's scene could feature him steaming some enemies weak to fire (but feel free to make other suggestions), Cao's could feature a sequence of him using In Harm's Way against a dinosaur, a mammoth, a Mecha, ... (but feel free to make other suggestions).

The other two characters I unfortunately don't know well enough to make suggestions.

For Bubbles you can include him emerging from a strange vault accompanied by a group of yetis, and also a scene featuring a feathered renkroda fighting a group of terrorists.
