For those not sure what a "West Marches" style game is ...

Is it too much work for a Live game to be practical?
How easy would it be to allow exploration information be shared between players?

My knowledge of these is they are hex crawls more than anything? For that you just need to prep well with tables, generic encounter maps and what not. FG should be able to handle that.

It's much like an "Open Table" I believe Rob Twohy runs these types of games several times a week. My understanding is it works just fine, as said, you just have to have the corrent material prepped in tables, random encounters, and maps so you can always be moving forward.

I was thinking more Path Crawl but yeah, close enough.

Would it end up being too generic to hold players attention?
