Installation seems to be failing?

Bought it on steam. When I run the installer, it seems to install, but I end up with this message:

Also... the password never works the first time I put it in and press enter. But it always works if I press enter after that. Very odd.

Can you please try and update your graphics card drivers?

Done. Maybe? It's an error that occurred right after installation... hard to tell if it's gone.

It was a new Alienware laptop, so that seems... unexpected.
