View Full Version : SFS #1-14: Star Sugar Heartlove!!! Sun May 26 @ 1 PM GMT

May 20th, 2019, 12:56
Tier 3-6! Subtier will depend on the players.

It is a very unique scenario but I can recommend it.

Please schedule around 4 1/2 hours for the game.

If you can only make another time (e.g. 9 AM GMT or 5 PM GMT) please do notify me about that fact and I might be able to reschedule the game.

If we don't have a legal table 48 hours before the game I might decide to cancel it in advance. I might run a tier 1-4 repeatable instead in that case but I can't guarantee it.

About the scenario:

A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3-6.

It's finally here; the sugar-pop band sensation, Strawberry Machine Cake, is starting its Pact Worlds tour. Thanks to the Exo-Guardians' leader, Zigvigix, the PCs and Historia-7 have tickets to attend the holo-concert event of the year. As Zigvigix hopes to celebrate and mourn friends lost in the Scoured Stars, Historia-7 enlists the PCs to track down an attendee associated with a conspiracy against the Society. When a stunning revelation endangers the concert, it falls to the PCs to step in and save one of the most hotly anticipated concerts in Pact Worlds history.

Content in Star Sugar Heartlove!!! also contributes to the ongoing goals of the Dataphiles and Exo-Guardians faction.

Technical details:

We will use Fantasy Grounds (I have an Ultimate license) and Teamspeak.

Steps before the game:

Make sure to both apply here as well as in the game calendar (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=3490), stating which character you'd like to play.

If you apply, make sure you send me your previous chronicle sheet of the character you want to apply this chronicle to (if you already have any chronicle sheet) either here or on Discord (Fantasy Grounds channel). If it is your first SFS game, I'll at least need your Paizo Organized Play # and your faction.

If you haven't already, also make sure to either build the character on FG yourself (and send it to me) or log in early enough so you can do so on game day.

Make sure you have updated Fantasy Grounds.

FG alias and Teamspeak server can be found under GM annnouncements in the game calendar.

Other notes:

Also make sure to track your purchases on the Inventory Tracking Sheet.

Be sure to apply on time (if you can make it) as the last games were rather full.

In your own interest, make sure the party is somewhat balanced level-wise.

Some boilerplate clarifications:

Please apply on the FG forums on both the game calendar as well as in the game thread (if multiple household members are playing, one person per household is sufficient). First, it's easier to tell how many spots are already filled that way. Second, the other players (as well as the GM) know what level and class to expect from your character (if you don't know yet, simply state TBD). Third, you'll get notified about any updates if you post in the game thread (at least about the first one). Fourth, it allows the GM to determine who applied first should it become relevant. Some exceptions might apply.

Also, please be sure to check the thread for new messages occasionally. You don't have to check each and every day or every few hours but please make sure to reply to any posts that do concern you in time. Should you remain unresponsive, I'll give the spot to a player that applied after you (as I won't know whether you are still interested in participating or not). Exceptions might apply, e.g. if you state beforehand that you won't be able to respond due to traveling.

If you apply but don't show up or drop out during the game without notice, in future games I might also give preference to other players who have a better track record of showing up. I am aware though that life and technical problems can always happen, so don't worry if you have a valid reason though.

These rules are not in place to prevent players from playing but in fact to enable players willing to play to actually do so. It's frustrating if I have to turn down players if it turns out they would in fact have been able to play.

I'm down. I've been looking forward to this scenario. Stewart, Damaya Lashunta Operative (Hacker) 4/Mystic 1, reporting for duty. He's a real Jack-of-All-Trades build. I usually play on Roll20, but I did play a session with you during FG Con. I've got another session scheduled for Fri evening, so hopefully I'll have chronicle sheet from that to send you by Sun, otherwise I'll send you the latest I have now, either way it won't affect my level.

Alright, looks like a legal table then.

You might need a pregen if there are no other signups though.

If you can't make it please notify me in time.

The server is up.

Chronicle drafts sent.

Next week probably a little bit later (4 PM GMT?) and a tier 1-4, probably either #1-32 Acts of Association (repeatable) or #1-36 Enter the Ashen Asteroid. The week after that maybe #1-19 To Conquer the Dragon tier 5-8.

May 27th, 2019, 00:32
I want to get 1-11, 1-13, and 1-21 under my belt before I conquer the dragon. I doubt I can manage that in two weeks but I'm subscribed to the announcement thread so I'll keep an eye out for other offerings that coincide with my wanted list.

I unfortunately had an emergency yesterday so i was not able to attend... sorry about that... but I'm also going to have to pull out of the campaign.

Doctor Tara Watts should be good-to-go for next week -- especially if it's SFS#1-36 (which I haven't played; I ran Otto through 'Acts of Association' at a convention a few months ago...I reckon that one would be a very different experience with an envoy, instead of Otto with a charisma of 8!)

Otto will definitely want to "conquer a dragon" (whatever that means) on June 9th!
