Effect Help - IFT Hex

I'm not sure how I managed to do this one. See the screenshot.

Hex on Orog, no hex on Warg.

The hex is working if I target both the orog and warg at once, bonus damage only goes on Orog. But if I target the warg and not the orog, the Warg gets the bonus damage.

Effect: Hex (C); IFT:Hex; DMG:1D6 necrotic; [SELF]
Effect 2: Hex; DISCHK: edit

Note: I do know that the fix would be to use "Effect: Hex (C); IFT Custom (Hex); DMG 1d6 necrotic [SELF]".
I'm mostly curious how I got it to work when I target both of them but not when I target them one at a time. That's.... just weird.

I’m not sure either and I can’t test at the moment.

Try in a new campaign without extensions to see if an extension is the issue. You might also need to separate the hex and DISCHK effects into two, but I don’t think that is the issue.

EDIT: Back on a proper computer; As noted below you need IFT: CUSTOM(Hex);DMG: 1d6

You need to use IFT: custom(Hex) instead of just IFT:Hex.
