Now that Celestain's Ad&d project has gone official and is now included for free in like 3.5/4d and 5e and the first set of OSRIC modules found here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?37777-Project-AD-amp-D-Core-Ruleset appear to work fine with it i have done the remaining classes ( Assassin, Druid, Paladin, illusionist and Ranger) . the module has been made with with Celestain"s First edition extension which can be found here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?37986-AD-amp-D-Core-1e-Extention

Be warned OSRIC is an early clone of first edition released under the 3.5 OGL and has some subtle changes from TSR's first edition and some not so subtle but these can be edited if this bothers you. At the time OSRIC came out the authors did have some concerns about being sued by WOTC, more recent clones like this one for Basic/Expert promise 100% compatibility https://necroticgnome.com/collections/old-school-essentials

I didn't try to dig through the thread since on mobile - if I recall for some reason that Classes one wasn't added to the rest of the OSRIC on the first page. It hasn't been updated since being posted there right? If I got it long ago it is the same one?

I grabbed your new one (and I bought previously all the 2E stuff - coz love, even though playing more 1E really)

I have no idea if The original with only four classes has ever been updated but it hasn't been updated to reflect being able to add the first edition combat matrices rather than the second edition THACO calculation. You would have to add those changes yourself.

One separate note it would easy to build a B/X or even a pre first edition Original Class module if that's your favourite flavour of DnD

No, by “updated” I meant the first class mod - is it the same as when posted or were ANY updates to it made and reuploaded, you know like Celestian would do time to time to his mods/pak. I’ll look for it in morning and just redownload just in case.

Are you working on the races as well? It seems like the races that are currently available for OSRIC do not update the movement speed when the race is added to the character sheet.

no plans to, only 4 people have downloaded my new classes, have a look at this thread and you can work out how to do it your self
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?36611-Video-tutorial-Races for the 5e rule set, its very similar to the method used on the 2e set also Zacchaeus has done a excellent video on creating new classes that i used to make the additional OSRIC Classes

monsters spells and items are in post 2 https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?37777-Project-AD-amp-D-Core-Ruleset

that said the first bunch of classes are done very basically in the pre official days of the rule set but the monster mod is useful source for all those monsters that got dropped from 2e
