hello, that's how I previously changed my computer so I had to reinstall Fantasy Grounds. I had a problem with my license number but it was settled with Smitworks, they gave me a new number, (why the former did not function any more ...). But this poses a new problem, in fact when I launch Fantasy Grounds the number on the top right tells me that I am in version 3.3.6 player (while I have an ultimate license) I have to make an update to return to version 3.3.7 Ultimate, the problem is that I have to do it every time! So is there a solution? if yes which one ?
Moreover the extension DOE does not work with this version (at least on my computer) whereas I seem to have read that it is normally compatible ...
That's all help is welcome thanks in advance.

It sounds like you don't have full permission to where your data files are being written.

Thank you for the answer but I activated my administrator account (net user ...) and I therefore have all the rights. Unless there is something more to do? If so, thank you for telling me ;-)

Ok then I have 2 instances under User Name \ appdata \ roaming \ fantasygrounds and a sub c: \ program files x86 \ fantasygrounds. When I run under programfiles I am in 3.3.6 until I make an update. When I run on Roaming I get the following message: Ruleset: launcher error. Unable to load ruleset file (base.xml) Do you want to try reloading the data? If I say yes the same message appears if I say no the program closes.
Is it serious doctor ? !!! In short if you can help me thank you

Have you possibly also installed from Steam?

Can you open Settings and check the Program and Data locations set there?
Do they match the settings you posted?
Does the shortcut you are using to launch FG point to the same location you posted?

Sorry to answer so late but I have a lot to do in my work. So Steam is installed on my computer but I have not configured Fantasygrounds to be associated with it. My shortcut is well on Fantasygrounds (the one installed in Appdata ...). Good after it does not matter it still works it's just weird but I can not find a solution for the moment ....
Thank you for your help. Good game !

My shortcut is well on Fantasygrounds (the one installed in Appdata ...).
Your shortcut to start Fantasy Grounds should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Fantasy Grounds\FantasyGrounds.exe - assuming your settings points here for the "app directory" location (damned asked you to post details of your settings). Unless you directory settings have changed, you should only have one FantasyGrounds.exe on your computer, there should not be one in your AppData directory.
