It is looking like we might be another hour or two -- or three -- out still. We have some last minute updates we are putting in and then we have to run through some fast tests. We were planning on a code freeze as of Friday but there were a few major issues we spotted that cropped up from previous updates. Fingers crossed the testing goes well.

So I went to Fantasygrounds.com/store/myorders.php a few minutes ago, went through some process to get my FGU kickstarter key copied to clipboard. You folks had an issue with sending the wrong link to get the proper downloader, so ran down to get a plate of food and came back, you have the issue fixed. However, between then and now, my lady used my PC and the clipboard has new info on it, so the key is no longer copied. Returning to myorders.php it's empty. Cannot find my code. Please help, thanks.

Thanks... I may need to reinstall classic after this as well, I am pretty sure it was the same folder. Leave it to me to mess that up... fortunately my game got canceled this week so I can sort this out :)

Looks like the data folder default uses a parent directory of SmiteWorks. So, you should be fine...

Make sure you are still showing as logged in. Store > Order History should always pull up all your active keys.

Yes, we will send out new links as they come available. It will likely be as a Backers only update on Kickstarter.

If you backed the KS, you will want to get your license outside of Steam and start using it right away. Once it is officially launched in Steam, we will send all license keys over to Valve so that people can choose to Activate a Game on Steam and enter the code to have it added to your library there without requiring a second purchase.

You were already claimed and locked and your key is in your Order History. The playtest emails went out through Kickstarter, so confirm you have an updated email address there or just log onto Kickstarter and read the Backer Only updates that have been posted this week.

Probably not, since the kickstarter ended for quite a while.

We will be announcing final upgrade prices in November once we have Fantasy Grounds Unity listed on Steam. We will not have any ability to discount the upgrade differently based on the age of the license. That was a Kickstarter only feature.

I have a similar situation. I backed the kickstarter (but my payment as a bit late, but paid $60) I have a FGU Key. I just figure out how to start the downloader separate from FGC.

I was. I confirmed it by going to my Activity. I stopped getting posts after post 20. Those posts relate to the Beta.

Sounds like the link for your KS account is broken. I think you are going to have to reach out to [email protected] and have them verify your KS account is listed as a backer etc. Also, I'm guessing you don't have access to the Playtest forum here? Did you ever claim your reward? But, either way, I think support is going to have to resolve things with you.

LOL Doug resolved my issue with getting UNITY. I am updating as I write this. I will check the kickstarter again tomorrow but I got my download.

No, only KS backers can see it. That's why with the NDA we can post information about FGU in that forum. (and only that forum)

Moon Wizard mentioned that it is now public (somewhere, I think Discord) when I remember it correctly. Just tested it: On my mobile phone, where I am not logged into FG forums, I can see the complete forum :) When I remember it correctly the NDA basically says that we should keep our discussions especially in that forum, and it is not allowed to upload things like videos somewhere else :)

Correct, their is no way to get in on the Beta test. Full release is hoped to be in the next couple months.
