Returning player LFG - 5E on weekends

Been an on and off D&D player for years. My last group was a physical meetup group for a campaign that lasted for about 6 months but we all moved apart about 3 years ago. Looking to get back in but am having trouble finding consistent groups nearby. First time trying a virtual group.

Availability: Evenings on the weekends.
Equipment: I have a headset with a good microphone and the 5e books.
Preferences: Over time, I have played just about everything but I am looking at 5e right now. Have played most roles, but prefer a more neutral melee type character of some sort.

If you end up playing on Saturday evenings - like probably 8 pm or after (central) I could probably join. Any earlier than that and it'll likely be too loud/hectic for me at my house - once some kids go to bed though it'll quiet down and I'll be free.

8pm central for 2-3 hour sessions works well for me since I got kids of my own too. I will give it a little more time for replies to see if theres an existing group. Otherwise I'll try throwing one together maybe. I got everything to run one, but I havent DMd since 3.5
