Rappan Athuk is a con open gaming room style campaign. Object is just to “sit down” and have fun exploring a huge old style dungeon. This is a dungeon crawl with “pick up” characters and players. Different character every session? Fine. Can only commit to one session? Great.

I’m looking for 4-6 players a session. If you are free and just want to play some D&D this Saturday - jump on over to Four Ugly Monsters and checkout the details here (https://www.fouruglymonsters.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=35).

Still have three openings for Session 3 if you in the mood to play some D&D on Saturday.

Right now for Saturday's game we have tdwyer11b with a Dwaven Warrior of some type, LostTribe with an elven Bard/Barbarian and Pisnerquest with a Dwarven Fighter.

The party could still use a divine caster, arcane caster and rogue. The last few groups were short on melee classes - that doesn't seem a problem with this group so far.

The pace of adventurers going into Rappan Athuk slows as wannabe adventurers can’t muster the courage to enter and adventures a distance away are still traveling and outfitting. No party enters the shrine for the first time yesterday.

However today three brave adventurers set forth: Catyr, Zereoil and Bagaduce.

Holding the current record for going the deepest into Rappan Athuk and for the smallest party – not to mention having the first Halfling barbarian; the group explores the east mausoleum and after dispatching the occupants, find their way into an underground tunnel. They fight a strange six legged creature that vanishes upon being slain leaving only a whiff of brimstone behind and discover a room filled with bits of corpses and broken sarcophagi. The brave Halfling has just begun to explore a three foot diameter tunnel when the adventurers are pulled back to the shrine at Tsar only slightly wounded.

Despite the small size of the party things went well. 700 XP each.
