Updating 3.5e to 5e

I have a 3.5e module that I'd like to update to 5e. I want to copy all the NPCs and Links out of the 3.5e module to a new 5e Module. Is that possible? The story entries have copied across fine, but how do I import the NPCs, Encounters and links -
or do I have to create all of them again?

The stats are different.
You will need to replace them with equivalent 5e ones.

Use the Universal Modules extension.
