Area: Tropical forest of Chult (inspired by Africa's Congo Rain forest)
Character Creation:
Point Buy
Main races, classes and backgrounds.
from PHB, SCAG, VOLO, XANA,
MTF and Tomb of Annihilation.
Session 0: February 18th (tentative)
The start of the campaign is straightforward but the tail end is very difficult with multiple encounters that are lethal. I would like to run the campaign as is and not modified the difficulty if possible.
My main focus as a DM is storytelling and puzzle solving. I do my best with RPing and voices but it's not my strong suit. I try to do at least 1 combat encounters per session, 2 to 3 ideally.
I can't run games for PvP or Evil characters. I ask that all players build characters that have the singular mission to keep each other alive. I like to use a house rule where skills checks get a +1 to +5 bonus depending how creative the solution to the problem at hand was.
