I have been wracking my brain trying to figure this out.

How do I set up a chat frame to be linked to a NPC?

I have seen some in the demo module that had the NPC's name in the left side of the chat box and when you drug the box t othe chat bar, the text came up in the NPC's "voice"

How do I set up a chat frame to be linked to a NPC?

After you've typed the chat box, write click in the box, and you should see a new option: Assign to Speaker.

Took me a while to figger this one out too ;) Thanks go to those who helped me out initially :) Don't remember who it was tho ;)

Alternatively, when you are editing a text block formatted as chat frame, press TAB and the cursor moves in the position where you may type in the name.
