unable to load rule set file (Base.xml)

I have installed FG via steam and now i get this error I have tried numerous ways of trying to resolve the issue

Uninstall / reinstall
Set permissions of the all the exe
Fire wall permissions
Folder and file permissions

Still no luck


please help me or I will have no other option but to ask steam for a refund and i really wanted to try this software out

Try getting your update issue I responded to in the other thread fixed first. That may fix.

If there is, what ruleset is mentioned? CoreRPG? 5E? Something else?

I seem to have sorted it out but it was a combination of various solutions. Thanks for the quick response.
