Hi All

I'm very new to FG, just learning the ropes.

This is probably a really basic question - but can tell me where to locate the FG Data Folder on a Mac? I've looked through my drive and Applications folder - can only find the app.

I want to upload some character portraits to my sheets.

Thanks for any help
J

Hi ladyejan welcome to FG.

AFAIK (and I know little about macs) you can find the folder in the same was as for the PC. Click the little folder icon top right of the start screen and it should open the FGData folder. You should also see the location in the settings screen.

My understanding is that on a Mac the FG Data folder is embedded inside the Wine application folder. So, the way Mr. Z says to access it is the easiest.

Right-click in Steam and go to Properties | Local Files > Browse local files. You should see FantasyGrounds.app. Right click on it and choose Show Package Contents. There is a drive_C folder inside the app that you can drill into to reach your files like you would on a Windows PC.

The path should look similar to this
drive_c\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\Fantasy Grounds II\campaigns\[Your Campaign Name]\Images
