We are proud to announce the release of three spectacular products from Malhavoc Press and Goodman Games converted to Fantasy Grounds: Monte Cook Presents: Iron Heroes Variant Player's Handbook, Monte Cook Presents: The Iron Heroes Bestiary, and Song of the Blade Beginning Iron Heroes Adventure from Goodman Games.

Digital Adventures and Monte Cook Present: The Iron Heroes Ruleset for Fantasy Grounds!
Iron Heroes is a variant rules system in the tradition of Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed, and now you can take your Iron Heroes game online!. This exciting new game of heroic combat action is for skilled heroes who have no need for magic swords or arcane trinkets. Armed with their cunning, talent and unmatched bravery, they wade sword-first into a savage world of high adventure. Now with the Iron Heroes Fantasy Grounds Ruleset you can play your favorite variant handbook all across the world!

This Fantasy Grounds accessory is written for the Fantasy Grounds Virtual Tabletop Software from SmitWorks. For more information on Fantasy Grounds see their website at https://www.fantasygrounds.com.

This ruleset product contains:
* 10 all-new core classes and an expanded feat system
* New combat options, character traits, and a new magic paradigm
* A full list of weapons, armor, gear, and magical items
* A quick ruleset references that puts important tables at your fingertips.
* Additional content from Digital Adventure's Best Selling Ruleset, The Complete d20 SRD Ruleset
* More variant rules from award winning author Monte Cook
...and much, much more!

Iron Heroes does for d20 combat what Monte Cook's Arcana Evolved does for the d20 magic system. Modifications to the core system allow for high-adventure gaming where a character's talents, not his possessions, determine his abilities. Expansions to the core skill and feat subsystems allow for intriguing new tactics and exciting, cinematic battles. This exciting new game draws in both players looking for a new roleplaying game and those who want useful new rules for their d20 games. With this ruleset now you can play Iron Heroes online with all of the rules at your fingertips.

A Free Adventure Included!
Also included with this ruleset is the free adventure conversion, THE KING MUST DIE!, an introductory Iron Heroes scenario for 5th-level characters (pre-generated characters included), by Mike Mearls. The King Must Die is designed to introduce new players to the Iron Heroes variant player’s handbook. It features encounters designed to highlight the new systems and combat options available in Iron Heroes. It was first run as an event at Gen Con Indy 2005.

The Iron Heroes Ruleset for Fantasy Ground goes on Sale August 5th, and can be downloaded from Digital Adventure's RPGNow store for a price of $10.00.

Digital Adventures and Monte Cook Presents: The Iron Heroes Bestiary Conversion for Fantasy Grounds!
Great heroes need great foes! The Iron Heroes Bestiary contains more than 30 new monsters designed for use in Iron Heroes. They fill a variety of roles, from intelligent, thinking foes to brutal, mindless beasts that spread misery and destruction. What they all have in common is a mixture of martial and arcane power to challenge the player characters.

This Fantasy Grounds conversion also includes some basic advice on using monsters in Iron Heroes, such as mathematical methods you can use to judge whether a creature offers the proper threat to the party and new feats designed to work with monster abilities. The Iron Heroes Bestiary also presents several new villain classes, an innovative concept introduced in Mastering Iron Heroes. Villain classes are a useful tool for generating challenging NPC villains or opponents for the PCs with a minimum of work. And don't miss the comprehensive monster table, featuring all published Malhavoc Press monsters -- all compiled into an easy to use MOD file!

Included with this Fantasy Grounds conversion purchase is:
* 33 new monsters from CR 1/4 to CR 20 included as separate XML entries, and compiled into an easy to use MOD file.

* Image and token files for monsters and NPCs.

* Monster entries included as (separate) XML code to add to your custom ruleset monster.xml file, or as Personalities. Included are the individual monster entries, as well as a ready to use monster.xml file (with all o the SRD monsters) that you can drop right into your Iron Heroes ruleset.

This d20 accessory is written for the Fantasy Grounds software from SmitWorks, and the enclosed MOD file can only be used with the Iron Heroes Ruleset for Fantasy Grounds, also from Digital Adventures and Malhavoc Press. The Iron Heroes Bestiary for Fantasy Ground goes on Sale August 5th, and can be downloaded from Digital Adventure's RPGNow store for $6

Digital Adventures and Goodman Games Presents: Song of the Blade Iron Heroes Adventure Conversion for Fantasy Grounds!
Song of the Blade from Goodman Games is an introductory Iron Heroes module that takes a group of four beginning PCs to approximately 4th level. Along the way they become familiar with the town of Axenbough, as well as the nearby Meanderwood Forest and perhaps the foothills of the Godsfang Mountains. Axenbough is a cheerful community on the surface, reaping the bounty of the forest, but a vile presence is beginning to make itself felt. A spidery race called the Aatarkhop ruled this land eons ago. Now the actions of a few heedless cultists are calling the wicked arachnoids from their slumber -- and now the entire adventure has been converted for play online with Fantasy Grounds!

Features for this adventure conversion include:
* The first published adventure for Monte Cook Presents: Iron Heroes, showing beginning players how to guide their characters through this action-packed world.

* An adventure designed to highlight the new rules variants of Iron Heroes, including combat locations designed for amazing stunts.

* Two new monsters for your Iron Heroes campaign.

* Fantasy Grounds tokens for NPCs and monsters, and artwork from the adventure product to share with your online players.

Use of this adventure for play with Fantasy Grounds requires the Iron Heroes Ruleset, also from Digital Adventures. The Song of the Blade Adventure Conversion for Fantasy Ground goes on Sale August 5th, and can be downloaded from Digital Adventure's RPGNow store for $6.

Thanks H. We put a lot of hard work into this ruleset (and the Arcana Evolved one). Jason (kalmarjan) did a wonderful job on the graphics, and Stuart and Markus were my crack coding-orcs that compiled the entire Iron Heroes book in less than two months.

... and for those that pick it up you may notice a few new coding tricks hidden inside. :)

Look for adventure support for Iron Heroes and Arcana Evolved very soon.

For anyone playing the Iron Heroes event BLACK BLADES OF THE DEEP at Gen Con we'll be giving away free copies of our Iron Heroes products along with copies of Fantasy Grounds.

Kevin,

Would you mind posting two or three screenshots of this ruleset? When I respond to folks questions it really helps! (Much like you did with the AE ruleset.)

Especially needed are a screenshot or two of the character sheets and some with open ruleset information windows.

Later.

Hmm ... I thought I had. Sorry.

Currently you can find a screenshot over on Monte's site. The easiest thing to do is probably post that URL. ;)
