Invisibility - Friendly Faction

Is there a way to set icons to invisible to friendlies? The eye disappears for friendly faction, but being friendly doesn't necessarily mean you can see your invisible friends. How is this supposed to work?

No. Tokens can not be selectively visible to certain players. They are either always visible, mask sensitive visible or invisible.
