Difficulty searching Items

I am having an odd problem I have not had before

when I search in "Items" it only allows me one character... one letter then puts the rest of the search text into the chat area

for example if I type "Cross" I only get the "C" and then "ross" in the chat text area.

I have not had this problem before, could it be an error in the update?

Yes I always update on game day ( our game days are on Tuesday nights )

Brave man. The recommendation is *not* to update just before you have a game.
