d20 Modern Campaign

Greetings one an all!

I'm in the process of re-starting my d20 Modern campaign set in my own world - a world much like our own, only that the things that go bump in the night bump back.

Its basically a CSI/Law&Order style campaign, where the PC's are members of an elite squad, who's assignment is to investigate, and police incursions of the Shadow into our world.

Current PC level is 3, and we're still fairly early on - we've only just introduced some of the shadow elements, so still plenty to learn for newbie players.

This game is currently slated to run Saturday's at 1500EDT, and we hope to begin the 2nd weekend in August. I have two players already, and would be willing to accept at least a couple more.

That sounds wonderfull. I got a character Idea already but its a race-class that was self created. I would love to play though the race-class i made is not important. If you want the information about it let me know.

Hey, i've never done modern d20 but i'm getting the rule book now so i'm probably going to be interested in joining (if there is still room).

My two main questions are

1) What kind of characters do you already have, personality wise? I prefer playing either the brawler or the silent killer type but, i've played some weird personas before. I think things can sometimes get to boring if everyone on the team is "Ok...kill him...now search here...now kill this guy....now search there"

2) My other question is, what kind of a campaign do you run? Is it more roleplaying based or is it more action based? Are dice neeeded to be rolled for everything, or are some things granted?

We currently have four players, two of whom are established in the campaign already. These two are a Profiler and a Firearms Specialist.

The two recent additions are still preparing concepts, but as of right now I believe they are both going to be a "face" type. So the brawler concept would work best I think should you decide to join up :)

I try to do a blend of RP and action. Tho my games tend to be more story based than rules based, blame the writer in me if you must :) So don't be surprised if it ends up bein a full session w/o a die roll...but I overall I try to tailor the game to the players and characters involved.
