Edit: Solved it.

Turns out my work VPN wasn't turning off. Manually turned that off and disabled it and she was able to connect just fine.


Hello all.

Having some trouble getting a laptop on the home network to connect to my hosted session.

Other players have been able to connect without issue. Connection test immediately returns with success.

Router/Modem is an Xfinity XB6-T
Prefer Private Connection is unchecked (originally had it checked)

Tried:

Restarting router/modem
Restarting laptop
Restarting host pc
Tracert to the local address (times out after 2 returns)
Change to wired connection
Verifying both are on the correct version
Run Steam as Admin
Run FG as Admin
Downloaded Non-Steam version of FG



Would love some help with this.

Your wife should connect to the Local or Internal IP address shown on the FG splash screen.
She should not connect to the Alias or External IP Address.

She's using the Local/Internal address.

We also just had one of our players host a session. I was able to connect to him. She was not.
