Is the FG TeamSpeak server (ts.fg-con.com) down at the moment? I have a game in half an hour, and was hoping to use it...

I can not connect to it either. I will see if one of the admins is on Discord and ping them there.

What is the general consensus for preferred program for Audio?
I know lots of ppl like Discord, but I tried it and had worse quality.

I prefer TeamSpeak. As mentioned it has better quality and less bandwidth usage (my understanding, I've never actually tested/verified it). It also has more capabilities and options (i.e. I prefer control!).
Discord is easier to setup and use if you just want "basic" audio. Not that you can't do stuff with it, but it doesn't have all the features TS does (yet, it is still being developed and improved upon). Plus Discord is more intuitive when it comes to posting and pinning chat messages, pinging users on multiple devices, multiple channels, etc.
But, I don't struggle over it much.
