DOE issues Players not getting sound after logging in as myself and downloaded EXT.

Hello all,

I have got my player to download the Base and Sound Ext, logged into Syrinscape using my login, checked the setting for sound is on for both machines. No Sound coming through his machine.

Who's the GM, you or him?

Only the GM needs to have the DOEs.

Also, can he hear sound from Syrinscape direct ie not even using/loading FG?

oh I didn't know, Was trying to promote your stuff :)

He has closed FG, He can hear sound when he pushed a sound in Syrinscape but not when I push a sound

So, if he loads up FG as the GM, with the DOEs, and has Syrinscape running, he can hear sounds directly from syrinscape but not from FG, is that right?

And he has turned ON sounds in the FG options, yes?

He can hear sound from Syrinscape when he presses a sound button in there.
Then he activates a magic missile in FG and he can he that sound through FG.

Right, so the entire setup is working for him when he's the GM.

And the entire setup works for you when you are the GM, yes?

But when he connects to you as a player and he has syrinscape started and sounds turned on in the FG options and you trigger a sound at your end (and you've got syrinscape loaded and sounds turned on the the FG options) he can't hear anything - is that right? What about you - can you hear the sound?

Yes that is spot on my good fellow, I can hear the sound perfectly.
