Im thinking of running a campaign set in the world of Harn, using the 1st editon rules only (no house rules). The first instalment is ready and waiting.
The party will consist of the usual generic suspects: cleric, fighter,thief etc. although Harn allows for more specific occupations.
All will be human.
The world and system is very low magic, and serious monsters (inc orcs) reside in the realm of hearsay for the most part, along with Dwarves, and Elves.
The sessions could be run anytime, although the weekend would allow for those in GMT+8 to join in as well.

Please bear in mind it is not DnD. The setting is more authentic Dark Ages/ Medieval but non the less just as dangerous, dark and exciting.
Combat is very gritty and descriptive.
There wont be an FG ruleset, but as a GM I wont be looking for a party that wants to shoulder the burden of running the system. A familiarity and appreciation of this great system will come through play.
I can run a taster session for those that are interested.
There are plenty of details to be sorted out but if enough interest is generated (Im looking for a party of 3-5 initally), Im sure this wont be too painful.
