Battle map not showing distance when drawn

Im trying to determine the distance between to Tokens or even between two squared on the MAP. It will allow me to created the path and draw the line, and even move the character on the path created, but it does not show the distance?

I even tried using the DM control Mode when drawing the path and the same issue arises? Any suggestions?

You need to put a FG grid on the map - even if the base map graphic already has a grid embedded. FG needs it’s own grid to know how to measure distances.
