Hello Everyone!

I am the creator of the SagaBorn Roleplaying Game (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/218057/SagaBorn-Roleplaying-Game-Core-Rulebook-PDF). I just purchased Fantasy Grounds ultimate and I am interested in building my ruleset and Creature Compendium for FG. The syetem is a streamlined d20 system, based on the 3.5 ogl.

I figure I should start with getting a character sheet made. Is that a good starting point? I saw posts about Morecore, but for the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to download it.

I am currently watching FG tutorial videos and getting ready to jump in!

If you are having trouble downloading something from the forum, make sure that you are viewing the full site, not the mobile site, and make sure your forum theme is set to FG Responsive, found in the bottom left corner of the page.

My understanding is the character sheet is the place to start, but I've never done any real development in FG so I'm no authority!

I’ve had a quick scroll through the rules PDF. Don’t look at MoreCore for this. As a starting point,look at the 3.5E ruleset that comes with FG.

Totally agree. This should be built on the 3.5E ruleset.

Thanks. I started a 3.5 campaign and it's is a much easier fit.

I need to look into editing names and groups, like skills, but this is pretty close rorn the get go.

Is there a good resource for learning how to edit the system?

Just started GMing the SagaBorn system! We are going through the Cursed Grove module. The players are really enjoying it!

Hey Blindside!

I am glad you are enjoying the adventure. I have been using Fantasy Grounds as well, and slowly have been entering in all the Creatures into the NPC section. I hope to start putting out data sets for SagaBorn in the future.

So, I am almost done with entering the monsters into FG for the Creature Compendium. But it makes me wonder.

Is there a place to post a Wanted Ad to hire someone to help code the SagaBorn ruleset built into Fantasy Grounds?

Should I wait to do this until the Unity version comes out?

The modules are supposed to be forward compatible so I'd go ahead and look for somebody now.
