Please excuse my ignorance, just starting to get into C&C.
The PHB states that healing is generally 1 point per day while resting. When you click on the character sheet or CT you can bring up a few different rest periods (1 hr, Short or Overnight). Are these additional options just for tracking time? Or just an option to let the CK determine different types of healing rates for their game? Or am I missing something obvious here?
Update: I've since discovered that the 1 hr rest comes into play when casting the Identify spell and the recovery of Constitution points. Not sure about Short rests yet...
