Hello all. So, I'm running a 5E game for some friends and 3 of them are on Macs. All of them are having the same issue of not being able to see the tokens and Library tabs on the bottom right of the screen so they can't load in the modules I have shared. 24767

How can I help them resolve this issue so I don't have to keep fiddling with their characters for them? I'm not a Mac user so I am even more clueless than my players as to how to resolve this! They are using the FG Mac installer to run Fantasy Grounds (None of them use steam).

Thanks for the help

Welcome to the forums.

If they don't run the window maximized does it help? i.e. manually resize it until it is nearly filling the whole screen, but not actually maximized.

I believe that they were seeing the same thing both maximized and not.

Try to scale down the FG UI below 100% and see if it pops out? The screen real estate might not be enough if many are shown. Command is \scaleui xx, use 50 to see what happens

I had similar issue with player using FG on 13” MacBook...

I will give that a try. I'm going to see if I can get on and have them screen share while we try and fix it before the next game.

So.... I got on with one of the Mac players this afternoon and had them share screen in Google Hangouts with me so I could see what was happening. We tried using /scaleui but no good. I suggested we try uninstalling and running through Steam - didn't work. Had him reinstall on Mac and noticed his start screen was saying he needed an update. Asked him if he updated after installing the first time and he said he didn't think so. I said hit that button and let's see what happens. It worked fine after that. SMH Oh well, it'll be an easy fix for the other 2 mac users since I can guarantee neither of them updated either.

Thanks for the help everyone, but who would have guessed 3 users didn't bother to update upon installation.

Have a great rest of your weekend.

Who'd have thought! Usually issues are caused by people running updates 5 minutes before a game.

Thanks for letting us know what the issue was. This will help others with similar issues.
