Does this forum support webm? Generally they're replacing gifs due to better compression and general playback.

I haven't kept up with vBulletin, it's been aging quite a bit.

I don't know what a webm is but if you click the advanced tab when you create a post and then on manage attachments it will list the things it supports.

You've never heard of Webms...?

They've been around for awhile and quickly are taking over the embedded video format.

FG 'videos' only allowed video links to supported websites, there's no video embed support, but only image links.

Generally any kind of modern embed support would do.

It's not a game breaker, but I'd rather not have to resort to GIFs when I can, both for file size, and conversion issues.

What is the purpose of the webm and gifs here?

Those are more for 4chat and other boards that are like chatroom with a lot of spam :)

If you have seen some of Ken L's extensions (and some other people's) they use animation to show how their extension works.
