hello, pretty new here and was trying to create an action power effect on a PC to when cast gives self damage vulnerability bludgeoning,
and i also need to make one for damage immunity poison, and condition immunities exhaustion, poisoned

i know more or less where to put them i'm just not getting the syntax right, i think....

i'm trying to make my players skeletons into PCs and i didn't see a way to add these to a power to make the skeleton traits true, and dragging skeleton onto a PC doesn't apply it as a race like i was hoping. this way we can track his skeletons as he progresses

i hope all that makes sense, thanks

Hi Segrimsjinn, welcome to FG

Have a read of the Wiki on effects (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Effects) and here's a link to some videos (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?41478-Effects-Videos-for-5E); video three covers damage resistances and immunities.

For vulnerability create an effect of VULN: bludgeoning; for immunity it is IMMUNE: poison

You can also create an effect such as IMMUNE: poisoned but there isn't a way to make something immune to exhaustion.

I'm not sure whether you are trying to make a PC skeleton or whether this is a skeleton which is being controlled by a PC. If the former since the skeleton race doesn't exist you'll need to create your own race. See here for how (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?36611-Video-tutorial-Races). If you can provide more details of what you want to do I can suggest further things.

Thanks a bunch! I'll dive into all that, i appreciate the pointers
The skeleton will end up being controlled by a player.
making it a pc, i thought was the easist way to keep it bookmarked and the player to keep track of things on it etc. And then i can copy and rename them as needed.

If the player is going to control an NPC then you may find this video (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?43513-Video-Giving-player-control-of-an-NPC&p=387176#post387176) useful.
