View Full Version : Weapon Attunment in FG 5e

Our group Sorcerer currently has a +7 spell attack bonus as stated in the Class. He recently procured the Wand of The War Mage +1 which add a bonus to attack rolls. However, when he IDed and equipped this item his spell attack rolls are still showing as +7.

Any advice on how to remedy this problem is welcome.

I'm experiencing a similar issue with my ranger who has procured 5 +1 arrows.

Assuming you mean 5E? Since you didn't post in that forum and didn't say, I can't be sure what system you are using.

A Site Search (https://cse.google.com/cse/publicurl?cx=010772646014076752437:l_cx3x-oggq) gave me this (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?44121-Help-with-spell-attack-bonus-effect)result, which answers this for 5E. Many other systems will be similar, but if not you'll have to let us know which system.

I'm experiencing a similar issue with my ranger who has procured 5 +1 arrows.

Equipping such items do not automatically add in their bonuses in the same way as equipping a +1 longsword would do. You have to set up effects or use the meta data for the wand in the post LE directed you to.
