I'm posting this here as I am both a new FG user and we are using it for our Starfinder game.

I have been playing around with FG/SF for a few days now to figure out things like effects and modifiers. I am wondering if the Concealment/Total Concealment modifiers are working properly. In test combat, when I apply a Total Concealment modifier to an attack roll, it does not seem to do anything. I can see it listed in the attack summary (for example: [ATTACK (R)] Laser pistol, azimuth [vs. EAC] [TOTAL CONC]) but it does not seem to apply the Total Concealment effect to the roll. That is to say, if I make 20 attacks against the target, the 50% miss chance never seems to actually cause a miss.

I add the concealment modifier (that is, I click on the TC/C button in the modifier panel) to the attack roll itself. Is there some way I should be adding this to the defending creature or is the TC/C modifiers just not working properly at the moment?

In regards to Effects in general, is there a way to see the specific effect coding lines (i.e.: ATK: -2) for all the standard effects? This would be useful for understanding how to code in new effects. The WIKI is helpful in this regard but it would nice to see exactly how the effects in SF have been implemented.

Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forums.

In testing on my installation (CoreRPG v3.3.5, SFRPG v1.0.10) Concealment doesn't appear to be rolling the miss chance on a successful attack hit.

This was supposed to have been added a couple of months ago: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?42165-Starfinder-Ruleset-Official-Products-bug-Reports&p=380670&viewfull=1#post380670 - Implemented in v1.0.6: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?42771-Starfinder-Known-Bugs&p=381900&viewfull=1#post381900

The Wiki still has to be updated with the specific SFRPG effects. Some info on effects here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?42573-Effects-Lists

Thanks. At least I now know I was not missing something obvious.
