Calling all DMs! This is a call to find a DM for a group of adventures looking to get their game rolling.

We want to start with the Lost Mines of Phandelver, transitioning those characters into Storm King’s Thunder. Player Characters have all been built with a backstory of the players design and are included below. This will allow 1-2 week periods devoted to character development in sections of the campaign that allow for a little side story telling. Once the campaign concludes the group will vote on which campaign to play next:

Tales of the Yawning Portal

Princes of the Apocalypse

Curse of Strahd

Tomb of Annihilation

Out of the Abyss

Hoard of the Dragon Queen and Rise of Tiamat

Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and Dungeon of the Mad Mage

The DM can either continue to fulfill that role or become a player. A player can then assume the role of DM, or we can search for a DM to host the next adventure we’ve picked. I have the legendary bundle on DnD Beyond so I can share it with the entire group, so everyone will have full access to all published material. When starting a new campaign, a player can either play a new character, or play the same character (starting at level 1) again.

If you join, you should be able commit to the campaign in full, but are not obligated to play subsequent campaigns. Though the hope is to find people who would like to continue. Missing an occasional week is ok, we all have lives, things come up, but it should not be a regular occurrence.

I am looking to have a consistent game on Sundays from 12pm to 4 or 5pm eastern standard.

Meet your Adventurers:

Ryder Arawn, a Wood Elf Rogue (Assassin) / Ranger (Gloom Stalker)

Ryder has spent his life as a Redscar Jackal, a guild of roaming hunters who travel the wilds and from town to town, taking bounties on dangerous creatures, bandits and all manner of troublesome fair. Within this band Ryder, though skilled in survival in the wilds, specialized in the urban aspects of the guild’s activities. He has made contacts far and wide, he has an ear to the ground in every city. This life has given him a lot of friends, and possibly as many enemies. Ryder, as of late has been looking for a change though, and rumors of trouble in a mine has sparked his interest.

Knux, a Human Fighter (Battle Master)

Knux is an affable, easy going young man who enjoys a drink, joke and bar room brawl. But he's not the world's greatest actor, and anyone who spends any time with him will know he's hiding a great deal beneath the surface. To the party he presents himself as a happy go lucky drifter who's good with a shield on his arm and a blade in his hand. But he's clearly steeped in a military background and deflects any and all questions about his past. Physically imposing at a bulky 6'4 in height, he is a front line monster in battle and has a head for battlefield tactics and strategy. He's heard the same rumours about the same mine but has none of the same interest. He's just taking on what appears to be an easy, low profile job for fair recompense.

Luci Briggard, a Human Bard (College of Swords or Lore)

Luci Briggard. Charmer, drinker, gambler, deal-maker. Face dusty with scraggly facial hair like he just walked through a desert, voice like the sand that scarred his face. Build like an old farm hand that had work hard for his next meal. A wanderer by nature, Jack-of-All by profession..but not without equal compensation. Eyes that can tell a story...a story of loss...of sacrifice. Luci can talk and snake his way out of any situation, or into anything that catches his eye. He can charm any crowd with his guitar and songs of distant memories. Always more than happy to lend a helping hand, especially if it helps his situation, as long as he gets his payment that is.

Thamior Naïlo, a Moon Elf Wizard (Evocation)

Thamior Naïlo was orphaned as an infant when his entire village was slain by Drow that where at war with his people, a group of Moon Elves, but as chance would have it, a human happened to be passing through the village after the slaughter. He was merely rummaging for anything of value when a a cry broke the silence. It was Thamior , crying out from a backpack he had been hidden away in. The thought of raising a child was too much for this wandering human to bear, but so too was the thought of allowing this infant to die alone. So Thamior was rescued from the desolation and given to a wizard who would raise and teach the child. More than 100 years has passed since then, passed too is the wizard who was both father and teacher to Thamior, now 132 years old and setting off into the world to find adventure

Sindri, a Forest Gnome Sorcerer (Wild Magic)

While most forest gnomes dabble with illusions, Sindri has always shown greater gifts when it comes to magic. The magic flows through him and occasionally is stronger than even he can control, causing all sorts of issues. As a child, Sindri worked hard to harness his gifts and develop methods for containing the power, but it wasn't enough. The magic still was too strong for him and eventually his community exiled him for their own safety. Heartbroken from this ordeal, Sindri reinvented himself as he wandered the lands, creating a stage persona who did cheap magic tricks for coin. This was the birth of Sindri the Spectacular, the Master of the Four Elements, as his show's title read. While this lifestyle generated enough income to subsist on, Sindri longed for more and as he aged, he learned more unique gifts that he could do with his power. With stronger spells, Sindri has taken to an adventuring lifestyle, still performing as he goes, but now picking up odd jobs to create more income, which typically is squandered on his next pint of ale. A man of many talents, and a great performer (when sober), Sindri longs for acceptance, the thing he lost long ago when his community exiled him from his home.

Drurgar Dirgebrew, a Dwarf Paladin (Devotion)

Drurgar Dirgebrew was a dwarf solder that lived deep within a mountain with his clan but they dug to deep opening up an old passage and soon after opening the passage his clan began to fall ill will disease. Drugar leaving with a small party in search of a that would take him across the lands. while gathering that last piece to create the cure, it being a rare plant find deep within the southern cave. while gathering the plant the party falls under attack by a tribe of orcs one of his party members strikes the wall of the cave with all of his might causing a cave in separating Drurgar from the rest of the party and knocking him unconscious. When he comes too he digs his way to the other side finding his party slain along the a dozen orcs and all of the supplies for the cure missing. too ashamed that he had failed his clan the condemned them all to death he refused to return to the mountain but instead becoming a mercenary for hire and sending his time in the tavern drinking.

Melody, a Elvin Druid (Circle of the Shepard)

Melody Redwood was born on a cold night in a dungeon of an old forgotten keep that was overrun by the cult of the Dragon. Her father was one of the commanders for the cult, and her mother was his prisoner. However, upon seeing Melody for the first time his heart softened and he arranged for Melody and her mother to escape. They found their way to Neverwinter where they lived a comfortable life. Growing up, Melody became interested in Alchemy and Healing and found a job working at the local apothecary. She was living a quiet, normal life until the dreams started. She began dreaming of running through the woods and swimming in the seas. After that, she began to notice that everywhere she went animals seemed to be following her around. This went on for months and at times, she could swear that she could hear the animals talking. Naturally, she thought that she was going crazy, and tried to ignore the animals as much as she could. As the dreams got stronger, so too did the voices of the animals. It took her over 2 years to finally say something to her mentor, thinking that he would have her immediately sent to the nut house, but she could not take the voices anymore. He looked at her and laughed explained that he hears the voices too, because he too is a Druid. He began to teach her about their shared craft and she soon became quite powerful. She does still get caught off guard and startled from time to time when she notices animals following her, or talking to her unexpectedly, but for the most part, she now has an amazing bond with the animal world. Learning all that her Mentor could teach her, she has decided to set out on an adventure to further her Druidic knowledge, and see what else is in the world.
