Are there mechanics that help with the use of Polymorph type spells? Or what about Greater Possession?
For example, if I am playing a sorcerer who shapechanges into a dragon, there are a lot of changes to manage. How does that work?
Thanks,
Laukai

I would use one of the techniques for Druids wildshape. You can search the forums for some threads on it.
What I usually do is either share the NPC to the character, or, if they use the shape often, create a second PC that is the polymorphed/shapechanged form and then just swamp them out on the CT as needed.

See this video (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?43513-Video-Giving-player-control-of-an-NPC&p=387176#post387176) for details of how to give the player control of an NPC. Having said that can a character polymorph themselves anyway?

Well, in a sense, yes. Spells or abilities like wild shape, Shapechange, Beast Shape, etc...
