Demo where are character sheets/how to make a character?

Running 3.3.5 demo. Just trying to make a character for a campaign I will be joining later today. Unfortunately I cannot figure out how to open the character sheet or find anything explaining it. The closest I have found is, players can use manage characters to create or edit characters. Might be I'm just dense but that isn't much help. Anyone here able to give more clear instructions?

When you first start Fantasy Grounds there are a number of good links on the first screen. The User Guide section of the Wiki is a good place to start - look at 5E -> Character Sheet: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Character_Sheet

Some of the videos in the Wiki are also worth watching. Try this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nurEMR4JJeU It uses the PHB product, but you can do the same process by activating the Basic Rules or SRD library module - you'll just have a bit less data than the PHB.

I checked out the help guide, but it starts with to edit your stats instead of how to open your character sheet. I found under manage characters a create pc button but it does nothing that I can see.

There is a golden rule in Fantasy Grounds - if you don't see an option, right-click to bring up a context menu. Some info in the "Basics" section of the Wiki here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/The_Basics#Context_Menus Keeping options in a right-click menu helps the interface remain uncluttered and saves valuable screen space.

You can also click on the brown / icon at the bottom of the Character Selection window to get additional buttons to create a character.
