Lost ALL damage and healing dice rolls!

All my players lost ALL damage and healing dice from all weapons and spells!

I have -no- idea how this happened, and we manually fixed them all. But it sucked up the last 30 minutes of our session and I would hate this to happen again

I have no idea what to suggest. Maybe someone else has seen this and can jump in?

Otherwise we need to know more details. Did the actions mode change? Did they disappear from the character sheets of the hot bars? Was this in the middle of a combat? Or right after joining the campaign? Was it repeatable?

It happened in one of my 5e games early this year or late last year.
Also lost Healing Hit Dice.

Went back to a previous backup and it hasnt happened since.

This happened to me when I took the 5e ruleset out of the folder (to unpack it to see theme names and wording) and forgot to put it back in when I started the game. Not sure if that helps any but I lost all damage and healing rolls along with hit dice without that ruleset loaded.
