I just got dune running the Princes of Apocalypse campaign and cut it short because I am running it in a store and people keep dropping out and coming back. So I want to start something shorter. I only use 5e rules. So any ideas on what I may start?
I am thinking also about dropping magic users just because people keep stopping the game to read how it works. I work 70 hours a week and only have one day off. I just don't have time to do all the research. That is why I use FG in the first place. Adventurers League looks like a pain an the but to keep up with and the only have 2 premade campaigns ready in the store. I need something easy and fast.

Based on this advice (https://geekdad.com/2018/01/one-shot-dd-adventures-fifth-edition/) I purchased the two Prepared! FG modules on [edit: actually the FG page itself]. I haven't found the time to run them though so I can't give any first hand advice (maybe in a few weeks).

Or just run AL adventures without the AL part?

More of the AL modules are now available on the DMsGuild.com. Some have FG modules, some don't. (Depends on the module author.)

Get a 1 months subscription and find some one-shot scenarios you like (you can view all of them in the web viewer) - then download 2 FG modules/month from their website as part of the subscription.
