FG will not open from Steam

I have FG Ultimate and attempting to launch from Steam. Steam shows program "running" about 2 seconds and then stops and does not open FG. I am able to run FG updater from File System but not able to start FG.exe from File System. I have an ongoing campaign that I tried to join earlier and was not able. I have an ongoing campaign that I am scheduled to run later today. I was able to get into FG yesterday to view my own campaign for prep today. It is unknown what changed from yesterday to today.

locate the fantasygrounds.exe file and delete it
in the same location you should find FGUpdaterEngine.exe - run that and it should re-download everything for you.
there is a way to do in Steam app as well - something about clearing local cache/files? im not in front of my pc to check - sorry.

Any chance there is a similar quick fix for the same issue on Mac?

Cleared download cache from Steam already. Problem still persisting.

There is no .exe file in my Local files folder. Just a .app file.

Edit: Never mind. Didn't realize you guys made a Mac specific downloader. All's good, thanks! :D
