My Map Class offers an introduction to using GIMP to create maps for FG, as well as how to export them to FG and create useable pinned maps to allow you to navigate through different rooms and bring up the appropriate map with a click. It will start streaming from twitch today in 10 hours time with a live chat afterwards for demonstrations. (Weds 11AM AEST), here's the twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/krisfromgtw

Timeanddate is a really good tool for things like this;

Hi everyone, I'm Kris from Game Tile Warehouse and rather than use live streaming I've recorded the free 90 min GIMP 101 Fantasy Grounds Map Class Video Tutorial to teach the basics of navigating GIMP, using its tools to create layers and maps, then export them to the Fantasy Grounds VTT Program and add pins to help navigate to different map sections.

My aim is to help others learn how to use GIMP quickly to improve their skills and abilities to make their own maps teaching what I know. I hope this helps some of you out there - enjoy :)
