I have a vision of a Physician character in the mundane sense. Forced out on an adventure he didn't want, he takes his doctoring with him... so NOT a Life Cleric. I'm trying to think of viable possibilities from a class perspective.

I'm playing with the idea of Rogue/Inquisitive which I explain the critical after an Insightful Fighting roll as him knowing the exact right place to strike to do the most damage, not that he is actually a "rogue."

I was wondering if there were any other classes that might work.

I mundane physician? I guess that eliminates cleric, druid, and bard. After that you really only leaves the choices of rogue, fighter, and ranger. Rogue probably works best, but maybe you could do something with a ranger too.

I don't know, I guess it would really depend upon the setting. Any setting with common divine magic all physicians would be some sort of cleric. Except maybe herbalists and midwives. The power of divine magic is so much more capable than medieval science :)
