Huzzah and well met!
FG Con is a twice a year event run by the community and supported by SmiteWorks.
All GMs are volunteers and all are running Ultimate licenses for FG Con.
Most events are one shots, some are part of PFS and ALO living campaigns, some are stand alone parts of a bigger campaign or series.
Most events are beginner friendly - new to both FG and RPGs even.
FG Con games are a great place to try out a different game system, to test run a new ruleset, to try something you havent had the time/chance to elsewhere etc.
Its also a great place to meet more players and GMs.
In my experience people prefer to play RPGs with people they know and like. How do new people become known and liked? Get in there and sign up for a few sessions and more opportunities may follow.
A big thanks in particular to Expedition to Sleeper Island, Savage Mojo, Fantasy Grounds College and Pronobis - Inkarnate Gaming for all the sessions being run by them.
There are games running in all timezones from Friday thru Sunday so there is plenty of opportunity regardless of what your other commitments are over the FG Con weekend.
If we dont see you this time around pencil in April next year for the next event!
