Helllo everyone. I have no doubt someone will be able to help me on this matter. Still a noob on FG, so thanks in advance.

I tried to distribute the parcel after one of my players found treasure in a Dungeon, like usual.

So i dragged the pre-made parcel in the inventory screen, then i assigned one item to a character by writing the name of said character on the assignment field, then the field have auto-filled the name for me, so i guess it was fine until there.

But when i clicked on the middle button to share/distribute the treasure, it said no player with that name was found, or something like that. For all items, even after it was auto-filled.

1) Did i do something wrong? I probably did.

on the same topic:
2) lets say one of the items in the parcel is [2] [Longbows], and i want to give it one to Rogue and another to Barbarian. Is it fine if i write: [Rogue, Barbarian] in the assignment field?
It did not work when i tried.

ive spent some minutes trying to find out the error and gave up so i could continue DMing, otherwise it would take too long.

THX!

You need to type in the character name exactly as it is including any capitalisation. I suspect that this is why it won't find the character.

You can't assign a multiple of an item to different people. The only way I know is to change the number of the items to 1 and distribute it, then drag anther copy of the item in and distribute that.

THX, gonna try it out.

The second answer is a bit disappointing, tho.

Put a comma between the assignment names - then it will split up the parcel item between the different PCs when you distribute the parcel.

Oh, so my ideal was right. It was probably both a capitalization problem?

I don't know what your issue was. I've tested in 5E and CoreRPG and both work fine using the <tab> key to auto complete names.

If you have further issues, please provide a screenshot showing the problem.

It always makes me feel a bit better when even the FG masters discover new things!

Oh yeah, even after 6+ years there's new ways of doing something I stumble across occasionally. Everything reveals itself in time.

The nice thing is, I can still use stuff I made 6 years ago today, even if it feels a little primitive in comparison... it still does the job of allowing me to run a game.

This is really useful and I'm glad I came across the tip to specify names with a comma between them. I'm still getting the hang of the Parcels and Party Sheet interaction.

I'd rather have the players be able to put some input in, but at least I know it's do-able to assign items (and split quantities if needed).

If you enable the option Party: Show inventory to clients your players will be able to see and interact with the inventory section of the party sheet. Meaning they can drag and drop things into and out of it. (I'm assuming this is what you mean by your last sentence)

Regarding the Party Sheet I would like to know if I can reward only one player with XP and more if I can spend money individually for him?

You can drag individual XP numbers to the character XP field on the character sheet or the party sheet. Though when you use the Encounters and the Award XP function, it will split it evenly among all PCs.

I don't think their is a way to award money directly to a specific PC via the party sheet, only directly on the character sheet (as far as I know).
